近日，知名游戏开发商 Zeptolab 宣布，旗下的知名益智游戏 Cut the Rope 系列的续作《Cut the Rope 2》正式登陆 Android 平台，而与iOS版采取收费策略不同的是，Android 版将免费提供下载，目前游戏已经正式在 Google Play Store 上架。
在发布 Android 版 Cut the Rope 2 的同时，开发商也宣布系列游戏一共被累计下载了5亿次：这里包括Cut the Rope、Cut the Rope 2、Cut the Rope: Time Travel 和 Cut the Rope: Experiments 等多个衍生作品。不过开发商并未透露过多该系列游戏的任何新的动向。
除了上架 Google Play Store 之外，在本月30日，Cut the Rope 2 也将会正式登陆亚马逊的应用市场。游戏支持高清显示，并且针对平板电脑等大屏幕设备进行了相应的优化。
